It is CNC machined from aircraft-grade alluminum and has a Mil-Spec hard coat anodized finish. It is installed by bolting the two halves around the CAR buttstock tube. Absolutely no gunsmithing required to mount and unmount this sling adapter! EZ CAR QD Swivel Attachment Point is ambidextrous and includes a heavy duty push button sling swivel.
