JOB TITLE:              Sewing Machine Operator          

REPORTS TO:        Production Manager        

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Efficiently sew articles in accordance with the provided “standard”.

AREAS OF RESONSIBILITY:

• Daily upkeep of assigned sewing machine

• Sew articles per provided standard
• Constant evaluation of articles sewn compared to a provided standard
• Participation in physical inventory efforts
• Constant attention to dwindling raw materials inventory

EXTERNAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Self motivated
• Experienced in sewing techniques used in a production environment

INTERNAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be team oriented
• Must develop the mindset of continuous evaluation/improvement.
