No one could have predicted the global health crisis we’re all collectively enduring, nor how the reliance on foreign manufacturing and labor could negatively impact our everyday lives. But they have, are, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. All is not lost, however, as there is a resurgence brewing – a resurgence of American manufacturing – right here on our soil.
Made in America might be trending, but for us at Blue Force Gear – Made in America has always been our focus – utilizing American made materials and American labor. In America, by America, for America. It’s that simple. It is who we are, and who we have always been. BFG recently celebrated its 15>thyear of proudly serving America’s finest warriors, protectors and enthusiasts with our full-line of state-of-the-art products made right here at home. And proud of it.
For many, it is the pride of our American Flag on the product label. For others, it is the undeniable quality of American toughness over mass production overseas. For some, it is the direct support of freedom over communism or authoritarianism that seemingly outnumber free societies on the other side of the world.
Moving beyond the rally cry of “Made in America!”, a nation in panic is now very much aware of a secondary problem – where goods may be manufactured here, but are built with foreign sourced parts. Thankfully our defense leaders had the forethought to institute regulations such as Berry Amendment Compliance – requiring all components of certain defense-related products be produced in the USA. This prevents the logistical problem of ‘we can’t make our widgets because we are waiting on our suppliers to ship our widget components’ but also ensures support of America, by Americans. With less than a handful of exceptions, all Blue Force Gear products are fully Berry Compliancemeaning the thread, webbing, labels, hardware, and fabric is all made right here in the United States of America. That also means that all of our suppliers products are also made right here at home.
