Easy Sling Adjustability for Carry to Shooting

The overall length of the Hunting Sling is 26 inches when fully tightened, and 46 inches when fully loosened. When tightened, the sling keeps your shotgun or rifle secure and close to your chest or back and when loosened, the sling is free enough to be shouldered and fired. This is perfect for long hikes or when having to climb a stand.

Instructions on how to attach the sling swivel mount to a rifle or shotgun

The instructions below show how to attach your sling to your hunting rifle or shotgun swivel stud. NOTE: Make sure the adjuster is tightened and closest to the buttstock when attaching. In addition, there is a video that shows how the adjustment works on the sling.

Step One

Loosen the lock pen by turning the grip counterclockwise

Step Two

Press the lock pen down and away from the lock

Step Three

Place the lock through the swivel stud hole

Step Four

Turn lock pen back and under the swivel stud

Step Five

Tighten the pen by turning the grip clockwise

Bfg hunting sling

Originally tried a cheapy Allen brand sling for a Ruger bolt action. It broke literally on first morning stalking through woods for hogs. Decided to spend little bit of extra $ on a quality name brand sling and couldn't be happier. Exceptional quality and easy slide adjustment of buckle one handed. Already been used several times including range time and has worked perfectly. All in all it does cost more than a bargain bin brand sling but for the quality you get in the product the investment is really minor.

Here is the deal! If Blue Force makes it,..it is the best out there. It does not matter if it is for your favorite rifle and/or AR. Stop looking for something better at any price anywhere. The customer service is also the best. The End!

Great simple and fast sling

I have couple of these slings and they are simple, well built, and fast to adjust. Only complaint is I wish there was a padded hunting sling however I am not sure that padded sling would work on this system. I also have padded and unpadded vickers slings but prefers the hunting sling on hunting rifles and shotguns.
